Food and drinks are available in the main serving area and at an additional serving area on the VIP / OG Lounge balcony. Both serving areas are 18+. Minors may enter the main event venue but not the bar or serving areas.

Payment methods are Bitcoin, cards and cash. Pay with Bitcoin at the coffee lounge, merch & book store and food & beverage areas. Individual exhibitors choose their own payment methods.

Outside alcoholic drinks are not permitted. Carry valid photo ID if you intend to purchase alcohol.

The Glass Courtyard and inner-courtyard gateway are accessible. Elevators serve different floors and event spaces, and accessible toilets are available. Some areas of this historic industrial building have accessibility limitations.

The VIP / OG Lounge has wheelchair access via an elevator in a staff-only area. Ask event staff to assist you. The Registration & Info Desk can help you find accessible routes.

Personal assistants enter free of charge. Accessible taxis may enter through the Tallberginkatu gateway; accessible parking is subject to availability.

Children can attend the main event free when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Students and other minors attending independently need a ticket.

Licensed bars and serving areas are strictly 18+. Staff may request proof of age.

General open WiFi, a free cloakroom and phone charging points are available. Backpacks and laptops are welcome, but security may check bags on arrival.

Keep your wristband on for the entire conference. You can leave and return with it.

Official photographers and videographers will document BTCHEL, and footage may be used for promotion and other BTCHEL purposes. You may appear in event photos and video.

Request a “No Photo” tag at the Registration & Info Desk if you prefer not to be intentionally photographed. Official photographers will try to avoid you; this cannot guarantee exclusion from footage taken by attendees, exhibitors or third parties.

Do not bring weapons, firearms, knives, other dangerous items, illegal drugs or alcoholic drinks. Security may check arrivals, confiscate prohibited items or remove people when necessary. Staff may also prohibit other items they consider unsafe.

For first aid or urgent help, contact the nearest staff member, volunteer or security team member immediately. Follow the instructions of venue and security personnel in an emergency.

Bring found items to the Registration & Info Desk. Lost property is held at the BTCHEL Hub for two weeks after the event, then transferred to Helsingin Löytötavaratoimisto if unclaimed.

If you have a wristband problem, speak to the Info Desk.

The main event language is English; some sessions are in Finnish. Check the online agenda for session-specific language information.
